| 3 prizes of 300, 200 and 100 euros have been established for the winners that will be announced on December 21 | This Thursday, December 3, the deadline to participate in the XVII Christmas Shop Windows Contest organized by the Department of Commerce with the collaboration of the Association of Commerce, Hospitality and Services of Mazarrón (ACOMA) and to which all are called to participate the establishments of the municipality.

This has been stressed by the Councilor for Commerce, Silvia García, who has been accompanied in the presentation by the vice president of ACOMA, Paqui Madrid. Silvia García explained that "those interested can register by completing the registration hosted on the mazarron.es website and send it to the address silviagz@mazarron.es or by calling the Department of Commerce".

The shop windows, added the mayor, "will be valued for their originality, creativity, lighting and innovation by a jury made up of a member of the council, another from ACOMA and a third with artistic and creative knowledge of window dressing." Three prizes have been established consisting of 300, 200 and 100 euros to be exchanged at any establishment in the municipality "thus promoting and having an impact on the local economy", added Silvia García, who has called the businesses that in this atypical year "decorate their shop windows to that, together with the lighting, our streets are brought to life and the neighbors can enjoy all these decorations when going out to shop or for a walk ". The vice president of ACOMA, Paqui Madrid, thanked the City Council for its support and has also called for the participation of establishments, both associated and not, so that "citizens see our shops as attractive so that they enter and are encouraged to buy, because thanks to them the merchants can continue ".

The ACOMA representative has announced that a new campaign is being prepared from the association in "this atypical year in which we have not been able to carry out all the initiatives that we normally carry out."
