The bases of the Route of the Tapa of the Miracle Festival 2020 have been published (20/10/2020)

| Those interested can present their proposals from today until Tuesday, October 27 | Despite the fact that this year the traditional Pilgrimage of the Miracle cannot be held on the occasion of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Department of Celebrations has gathered the interest of the hoteliers of Bolnuevo to be able to carry out the 'Ruta de la Tapa' on the occasion of these parties maintaining all the security and hygienic-sanitary measures.

The regulatory bases for participation have been published on the mazarron.es website where they can be downloaded together with the registration form to sign up for this initiative. Proposals can be submitted from today until Tuesday, October 27, inclusive.

The request must be submitted to the Mazarrón Town Hall registry and a photograph of the establishment's cover must be sent to the address festejos@mazarron.es or delivered to the premises of the Department of Celebrations, located on the second floor of the Town Hall administrative building . The activity will be held between November 13 and 22, both inclusive, and the price of each tapa and beer / soft drink will be 2.5 euros.

As on previous occasions, a passport will be published with the different participating tapas to be able to choose the best proposal, which will obtain recognition, as well as collect different prizes to which all those citizens who obtain a certain number of stamps will be able to choose. The Mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, explained that "although the festivities of the Pilgrimage are going to be atypical, as has been happening with the festivities since March, we wanted to have a gesture of support to the hotel and restaurant sector for that during those days that the 'Ruta de la Tapa' will last, we can help them in these difficult times that we are going through, always complying with the safety and hygienic-sanitary measures ". Gaspar Miras stressed that "neither in the hotel and restaurant sector, nor in the tourism sector, nor in the commerce sector have there been outbreaks due to Covid" but he recalled that "we must continue to maintain the measures before the pandemic to contain the data of contagions in our municipality, which are among the lowest in the Region of Murcia "for which he congratulated both merchants and citizens" for the behavior we are having in the face of the evolution of the situation.
