| Emergency services have not been able to save a motorist who died when a car and a motorcycle collided in Mazarrón | Emergency services have not been able to do more than certify the death of a motorcycle driver, who has died as a result of the injuries suffered when the vehicle he was driving collided with a passenger car, on the RM-332 highway, in Mazarrón.The 1-1-2 received calls reporting the accident at 07.59 this morning.
They pointed out that at km.
33 of the aforementioned highway, between Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón, a passenger car and a motorcycle had collided and the driver of the latter was lying unconscious on the road. They also indicated that fuel had been spilled.
Patrols from the Local Police, Civil Guard, a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) with health personnel from the Urgency and Health Emergencies Management 061 and firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire Extinction and Rescue Consortium were mobilized to the site.
Upon arrival, the injured person had already died.
