Bolnuevo's erosions are lit in red by the defense of the events and entertainment sector (01/10/2020)

| Global day, the international protest of event producers, arrives in Mazarrón to warn of the collapse of a sector that is dying by the pandemic | Uepemur, the Union of Event Production Companies in the Region of Murcia, through the global movement 'Red Alert' for the sectoral unification of the entertainment and events industry, yesterday illuminated the monument of the Erosions of Bolnuevo to make visible the dramatic situation that the sector is going through. Mazarrón thus joined the Global Day that has united other places in the Region of Murcia and the rest of the world in this clamor for the survival of the entertainment and cultural sector.

Through social networks, the movement has been present through the official hashtags #WeMakeEvents #HacemosEventos, #TodxsUnidxs, #StandAsOne and #LightItInRed, when on Wednesday night several emblematic buildings and spaces such as the Erosiones de Bolnuevo were shown in 'Red Alert' for Culture. The Deputy Mayor for Culture, Ginés Campillo, traveled to the esplanade of the natural monument to show his full support for Uepemur in its struggle since "this summer in Mazarrón it has been demonstrated that culture is safe, that specialists in the the technicians of the Department have done a phenomenal job, safeguarding people's health and knowing how to organize quality events in the circumstances that we live in "and that, therefore," the professionals of events and entertainment must be able to continue working, for the future of all the people who live in the sector and for the progress that Culture supposes for all of society ". José Gonzalez, president of Uepemur, and Antonio Avellaneda, member of the board of directors of the sectoral union, also present together with the Erosions, showed their appreciation for Mazarrón's adherence to the movement.

González wanted to highlight "the singularity of projecting itself on a natural monument like this, which we believe will be one of the few, so today they wear red since most will be buildings."
