A work that this week has been reinforced with the signing of a new contract for the next two years that includes special actions against Covid-19 before the return of Infant and Primary schoolchildren to the educational centers that are expected, If there is no new change before the start of the course, by Monday, September 14. The new contract has gone to the UTE made up of the companies 'Limais' and 'Actua' and will come to expand, due to the current situation, the usual tasks that have been carried out in schools.
The firm also contemplates these special works in the social centers of Cañada de Gallego and Camposol and the offices of Cañada de Gallego, Camposol and Majada and will allow the City Council to comply with the security protocols against Covid-19 in all these municipal spaces . The Councilor for Services, Tomás Ureña, stressed that "since the beginning of the pandemic we have focused on disinfection and cleaning in the municipality to stop the coronavirus and now it is time to also turn to schools to guarantee maximum security for our boys and girls".
The mayor added that "in addition, pruning and conditioning of the schools are also being undertaken so that everything is ready for next week even though the start of the course has been delayed."
