| Lifeguards and health workers have not been able to save a man who has died while bathing on the beach of El Alamillo (Mazarrón) | Emergency services have not been able to save a 74-year-old man who died while bathing on the beach of El Alamillo in Puerto de Mazarrón.
On 1-1-2, he received, at 12:29 p.m., the notice from the surveillance post on the aforementioned beach that a male who was unconscious and in cardiorespiratory arrest had been rescued from the water.Local police patrols, members and health personnel of the Emergency Service and Civil Protection of the Mazarrón City Council and an ambulance with health personnel from the Emergency Management and Health Emergencies 061 were mobilized to the site.Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the man died.
