The Public State Employment Service (SEPE), has detailed the measures that affect beneficiaries and applicants for unemployment benefits during the COVID-19 crisis and as long as the alarm status decreed by Royal Decree 463/2020 is in force.

A) .- Workers affected by RECORDS OF TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT REGULATION (ERTE).

The procedure is regulated in RD-Law 8/2020 and 9/2020:

Workers affected by an ERTE do not have to make any arrangements with SEPE or request benefits.

The company will communicate the data of the affected workers to the administration (General Directorate for Social Dialogue, CARM electronic office, procedure 3345) and will be automatically registered in the system.

The SEPE will initiate the procedures for the recognition of its benefits.

You also do not have to do any business with the SEF.

Registration will be done automatically in coordination with SEPE.

The companies must communicate the data of the workers affected by the ERTE by completing, within five days from the presentation of the ERTE, the Excel that the SEPE has sent them with the minimum data necessary for registration in unemployment benefits, that will be done ex officio.

The High in the demand for employment will also occur automatically after the mechanization of unemployment benefit.

B) .- Rest of workers who need to REGISTER in the SEF and REQUEST BENEFITS in the SEPE.

RD Law 8/2020 contains some measures related to beneficiaries and applicants for unemployment benefits:

· The SEPE will not apply the process of “days consumed by late application†during the duration of the COVID-19 crisis (Article 26 of RD Law 8/2020).

· In application of article 27 of RD Law 8/2020, the semi-annual extensions of subsidies will be automatically resumed, so it is not necessary to apply.

Neither will the payment of the subsidy over 52 years of age be interrupted if the annual income statement is not submitted within the legally established period.

· SEPE informs that BAE accreditation will not be required in RAI and SED applications.

After registering with the SEF, the unemployed have to send the application to the mailbox of their corresponding employment office:

Mail with request and copy of DNI / NIE (or indication of expiration date) attached to the email address of the Mazarrón office: bop3002610@sepe.es

· Expiration date of the DNI / NIE

· Name and surname of the applicant.

· Type of benefit requested (Tax, Subsidy, Renewal, RAI, SED ...)
