For the first time in the history of Spanish national surfing, it has been possible to incorporate a test within the National Surf League 'JUNIOR SERIES' in the Mediterranean coast that had as a meeting point the Junta de Los Mares beach (better known as Bahía Grande) from Mazarrón.
Due to the difficulties in the absence of waves, the competition had to move to another beach where the competitors, along with their coaches, demonstrated a high level of surfing getting high scores.
After holding the event, the aforementioned beach hosted the awards ceremony by the Councilor for Education, Conchi Aparicio.
In the U12 Men's category, Marco Albacete prevailed, accompanied on the podium by Javier Montañes, second, and Murcia's Victor Moreno, third;
Mario Mediola being fourth in this category.
In Women's Sub 12, the only winner was Valeria Fernández.
In men's sub 14, the champion was Hans Odriozola, followed by Álvaro de la Fuente who was in second position and Marco Marín who was third and Álvaro Caballero fourth.
In Sub 14 Women, the winner was Martina Escobar.
Enara Palacios was second, Saioa Ortega third and Paula Fernández fourth.
In men's Under 16 the winner was Hans Odriozola, in second place was Sebas Bamonde, third was Manuel Fernández and fourth Alex Valor.
In women's Under 16, the winner was Silke Martínez.
In second place was Enara Zabala, third was Camino Navas and, finally, fourth was Paola Albacete.
In men's under 18 the champion was Manuel Fernández, the second classified was Sebas Bamonde, third was Néstor García and fourth was Alejandro Montañés.
In Women's Under 18, Silke Martínez won.
Second was Enara Zabala, third was Elena Pérez and fourth Daniela Escobar.
From the Bahiasurf team they wanted to "thank the effort of the technical team of judges of the Spanish federation, to the collaborating companies such as HERO ESPAÑA SA and the Huertas-Motor car group, the UPICUS company for the recording of the event and to the City Council of Mazarrón for infrastructure and unconditional support for sport.
