Mazarrón lived a magical day yesterday with the celebration of the Children's Carnival Parade that dazzled attendees who gathered along the Constitution Avenue to not miss the dazzling staging that dance schools, ampas and nurseries offered and that, clearly, they have meant a qualitative leap in terms of the celebration of this first parade of the Mazarron carnival.
In the section of dance schools, the winning group was the De Rosa dance school, which opened the parade, and won the 425 euros of the first prize.
La Peña El Tolín won the second prize in this category with 250 euros.
Finally, Antonio Jara dance school won the third prize endowed with 150 euros.
The Ana Ruiz and Terpsichore Dance studio schools completed this category.
Regarding the schools and nurseries, which paraded after the dance schools, the first prize, also endowed with 425 euros, went to the AMPA of the Ginés García school.
In second place was the Semillas Infant School that took the 250 euros of the second prize.
The AMPA of the La Aceña school was in third place, obtaining the 150 euros with which its prize was endowed.
Nursery Fairies and Elves, Los Lunnys nursery school, the AMPA of the Bahia school, the AMPA of the Francisco Caparrós school, the AMPA of the Infanta Leonor school, the AMPA Los Caleñares of the Miguel Delibes school, the AMPA La Molineta of the Manuela Romero school and the AMPA of the SIGLO XXI concerted school completed this wonderful parade.
The awards ceremony was given by the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, the deputy mayor, Ginés Campillo, the councilor of Festejos, Miguel Ángel Peña and the councilors Plácida Gómez, Raquel Raja and Sara Redondo.
After the delivery, the party continued in the municipal tent where dozens of young people enjoyed the music of local DJs.
Local Police, Civil Guard, Civil Protection and Red Cross deployed, once again, a coordinated security device that, together with a large group of volunteers, made everything go perfectly and that the parade organization also shone, receiving the thanks and congratulations from the participants towards the town hall.
