The new consul of Ecuador in Murcia, Miguel Ángel Macías, went to Mazarrón last Saturday to officially appear before the Ecuadorian community in the municipality.
Macías was received at the facilities of the Amazon River Association by the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, and the Councilors for International Relations, Silvana Buxton, Personal, Plácida Gómez, Education, Conchi Aparicio, and Tourism, Raquel Raja.
During the presentation ceremony, both institutions showed their commitment to work together for the Ecuadorian community in Mazarrón, strengthening the ties that unite them.
Something that has been produced and that showed the outgoing consul, Daniel Peñaranda, who accompanied Macías and Miras wishing them a prosperous joint work.
After the official reception, Miras and Macías toured the facilities of the Amazon River Association accompanied by the aforementioned councilors of the government team and the president and vice president of the aforementioned association, Patricio Mendoza and Ángel Haya;
as well as other members of the Ecuadorian community who closed the presentation sharing delicious and lateral tamales.
