Maria José Morillas de Peña 'El Salitre' (Musa Juvenil), Juan Carlos López from 'Los Salaitos' (Muso Juvenil), Berenice Martínez from 'El Tolín' (Musa Infantil) and Luis Miguel Gallego from 'El Tolín' (Muso Infantil) ) last night they collected their scepters as muses and muses of the 2020 Caranaval from the hands of the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, and the councilor of Festejos, Miguel Ángel Peña;

during the Carnival gala that filled the crowded sports hall of La Aceña with dance and color.

The recognition was also given to 'Carnavalera of the Year' which on this occasion fell to Ana Coy López, one of those responsible for much of the history of the rock La Cañadica.

Excited, the Carnavalera of the Year named her friends and companions of the rock for the support and work they have always given both her and her companion, as well as her children who have also been an active part of the group.

The gala was attended by the dance schools De Rosa, Antonio Jara and Ana Ruiz Dance and Fitness Club, which dazzled with their worked choreographies;

and from the outgoing muses Natalia García, Lorena Contreras, Guillermo Miras and Juan Carlos López, who repeated as a youthful muse this year.

Their dances complemented those of the incoming muses offering a magical show full of rhythm and color.

In addition, the gala was attended by Natalia Sabater and Nicolás Rodríguez, Muso and Musa from the 2020 Cabezo de Torres Carnival;

and of the choreographer of Archena Adrián Campoy, who acted as Jury.

Having the difficult task of choosing between Berenice Martínez and Desireé Giménez, the other candidate for children's muse of the night, representing the Rosa Dance School.

This Monday, starting at 9 pm in the auditorium of the Mazarrón Day Center, the draw for the order of the rocks for the parades with which the events of this year will be resumed takes place.

Specifically, on Saturday 22 the children's parade will take place and on Sunday 23 it will be the turn of the local clubs.

Finally, on Sunday, March 1, the parade of foreign clubs will be held.

The three parades will start at 5 in the afternoon from the La Paz garden to tour the entire center of the town along the Constitution Avenue.
