635 children and young people from the different educational centers of Mazarrón participated last Saturday in the Day of School Sports Cross that is traditionally celebrated coinciding with the Patron Festivities and that, on this occasion, had to be postponed due to bad weather.
A total of 10 races were played in the Benjamin, Alevín, Infantil, Cadete and Juvenile categories in both male and female modalities.
The Councilor for Sports, Francisco José García, was responsible for delivering the trophies to the top 3 classified in each category.
In addition, José Manuel Pérez, from Infanta Leonor School, received recognition for his courage and courage from his educational center and the City Council, which the director of the center collected on his behalf.
