35 students of the Collège La Tourette in Lyon (France) have participated in an exchange meeting with the IES Domingo Valdivieso de Mazarrón.
The young people have been received in the Plenary Hall of Town Halls by the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, and the Councilors for Citizen Participation and Tourism, José María Moreno and Raquel Raja.
The mayor sent a few words to the schoolchildren to whom he asked what the activities they had been doing and what they liked the most, to which they responded unanimously that the food.
In addition to gastronomy, young people have enjoyed various leisure activities, such as sailing or kayaking with the school 'Grímpola, as well as tourism both in the municipality and outside it, visiting Murcia, Cartagena and Granada among other places.
Finally, the mayor and the councilors present gave the youth a gift and various informative material about the municipality.
Gaspar Miras took the opportunity to encourage young people to transfer to Lyon the beauty and goodness of the municipality and wished they would soon visit us again and enjoy all that Mazarrón offers.
