Until October 25, the exhibition 'The sealed summer' of the Madrid painter Alejandro Carpintero can be visited at La Casa del Mar in Puerto de Mazarrón, which yesterday was inaugurated by the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, and the artist himself who were accompanied by the Councilor for Education, Conchi Aparicio, the Councilor for Sports, Francisco José García, as well as friends of the painter and neighbors who did not want to miss the opening of the exhibition.

As Carpintero explained, it is "the most mature exhibition I have made and the last chance to see some of these paintings because when this exhibition ends the works will travel to different sites."

The Madrid artist also commented that the show began as "an experimentation of something that had to come out of me" and "all these paintings have been painted at the same time in a period of 6 months."

The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, was surprised by "the liveliness and color of the work as well as the outline of how it is executed. Some paintings full of vitality and based on characters, landscapes and experiences that surely represent part of the experiences and memories of the author. "

And so the artist himself noted that he highlighted "the important psychological burden that my paintings present although they are cheerful and colorful."

The first mayor thanked Alejandro Carpintero, who has become an emerging figure in the Spanish pictorial panorama, "who has honored us with his exhibition by closing the cycle of exhibitions that have been held all summer at La Casa del Mar" and moved him that "as you create, the doors of our people are open to any new occasion we may have here."

The exhibition can be visited until October 25 in the La Casa del Mar building located on La Torre de Puerto de Mazarrón, at the entrance of the fishing pier, on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm and from 18 to 21 hours with free admission.
