The exhibition "This is not cinema" brings this Friday to Mazarrón to Moisés Yagües (11/09/2019)

This Friday, September 13, the hall of the Popular University of Mazarrón located in the CIME building on Avenida de La Constitución will host the opening of the exhibition 'This is not cinema' by Moisés Yagües.

The works of the sample, based on famous films, do not obey the mere pleasure because their theme is related to the topics that most interest the artist such as loneliness, the impossibility of fruitful communication or inexpressible desire.

Among the films to which Yagües' works refer are films by Woody Allen, David Lynch, Kim Ki Duk, Frank Capra, Krzysztof Kieslowski, among others.

The project arose in a very natural way, when observing Yagües as in his production he had several works related to the cinematographic field, free interpretations that could form a series when joining.

The exhibition will be opened by the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, and the Minister of Education and Culture, María Esperanza Moreno, as the exhibition is promoted by the Institute of Cultural Industries of the Arts (ICA) of the Region of Murcia.

The entrance to the inauguration is completely free.
