The plenary session of the City Council of Mazarrón unanimously approved to include two points of urgency in the agenda of the ordinary session held this past Tuesday.
The first one gave the green light to the final approval of the municipal ordinance regulating the parking card for people with disabilities.
Once this procedure has been completed, said ordinance will be published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM).
The Councilor for Social Services, Miguel Ángel Peña, explained that the point contemplated a modification with respect to the previous text, taking into account the allegations presented at the time by the Councilor for Citizens Tina Ruiz.
Miguel Ángel Peña explained that "reviewing the previous ordinance, and reviewing this before the good work done by councilwoman Tina Ruiz, some changes and aspects necessary to include are seen. Now the new ordinance comes with five very clear and clear chapters. In addition, in this one the competences are very well explained and the procedure is much clearer in what refers to the natural and legal persons, as well as the speed in which this card can now be obtained in urgent cases ".
The point was approved unanimously.
The other point of urgency, arriving from the Mayor's Office, was a request from Councilor José María Moreno in which compatibility was requested to be able to carry out activities as contracted by musical companies.
The point came forward with 14 votes in favor (PSOE, UIDM, Citizens and VOX) and 6 abstentions (PP).
