The City of Mazarrón offers another year a program of activities for parents to reconcile family and work during the Christmas period.
The mayor, Alicia Jiménez and the councilor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz, have presented this service that is aimed at school children from 3 to 12 years whose parents are working or receiving training in the SEF.
The requirements also include single-parent families where the adult works or does training of the SEF, as well as being registered in the municipality of Mazarrón.
Registration can be formalized at the Social Services Centers of Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón on December 13 and 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The activities will be carried out at the CEIP Francisco Caparrós de Mazarrón and Bahía de Puerto de Mazarrón on December 24, 26, 27, 38 and 31, 2018 and on January 2,3 and 4, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m.
The activity is organized by the City of Mazarrón with the Cultural Association 'Pachamama' and is subsidized by the European Social Fund and the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia through the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities.
The amount of the subsidy amounts to 10,700 euros.
Emilia Baños, technician of 'Pachamama', has detailed the content of the activities to be developed that will include educational reinforcement in a playful way, sports and psychomotricity activities and different Christmas workshops.
They will incorporate this year the celebration of a New Year's Eve, inflatable castles and a party with magic performance.
