The General Directorate for Women and Equal Opportunities, the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities, together with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports recently presented the guide 'Teach Me to Love' aimed at families of young people and adolescents, with the aim of to prevent, detect and / or act in cases of gender violence.
It is a proven fact that gender violence also occurs in adolescence and it is therefore essential to provide families with information and guidance that will serve as tools to act in these cases or prevent them, as the family is the first agent socializer and educator.
Through the CAVI de Mazarrón (Specialized Care Center for Women Victims of Gender Violence) the guidance departments and the different AMPAs have been informed, in order to be able to request such training from fathers and mothers to the General Directorate of Women and Equal Opportunities.
In future talks will proceed to the delivery of the newly published guide.
This activity together with the Municipal Program of prevention and awareness against gender violence and toxic relationships aimed at the adolescent population through the Institutes of the Municipality will be complemented to meet the common goal of educating in respect, equality and nonviolence .
