This weekend the Port of Mazarrón has successfully held the "I Rociera Day in honor of San Jose" to the warm welcome to a score of Rocío choirs from different geographical locations Murcia.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Fiestas, Luisa María Heredia, have attended the event dressed in traditional costumes rocieros as the Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos.
Those attending the evening rociera enjoyed a mass campaign in honor of San Jose, held on the esplanade of the Marina, which has attracted the attention of hundreds of people, among whom were members of the Governing Body, citizens and tourists.
Throughout the day rocieros groups have close ties of friendship in this coexistence that has reached its peak with the proceedings in which the groups come from different parts of Spain, have realized their art.
