The Community begins work on a social housing development in Mazarrón with an investment of over one million euros (03/02/2010)

The Housing and Land Institute offers these families other homes until the new development is finished

The Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, today made the cornerstone of a social housing development in Puerto de Mazarrón, a performance that involves investment of 1,164,555 euros by the regional government.

The parcel on which the new homes will be built is located in the north and covers an area of 1,356 square meters, which was granted by the City of Mazarrón the Housing and Land Institute (IVS).

The counselor noted that "until the new development is finished, the Housing and Land Institute has provided temporary housing for families near the area where the autonomous region will build the property."

The IVS will build two groups of six and seven houses that occupy an entire block.
