Mazarrón citizens have recently commemorated the Day of Santa Barbara, Patron Saint of Miners, in the Plaza del Salitre.

This conclusion has received Mass, officiated by the parish priest of Mazarrón Julio Romero, and a procession with a wreath in honor of Mazarron who have dedicated their lives to mining.

The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, accompanied by the councilman Festival, Luisa María Heredia, Planning, José Antonio Román, Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja and crew, Miguel Ballesta, has wrapped these religious activities.

After the ceremonies, the residents of Barrio del Salitre wanted to invite all attendees with a tasting of potatoes with garlic and michirones in the Plaza del Salitre.
