The Department of Women's Hall of Mazarrón has developed a full program to commemorate the 'International Day Against Violence Against Women' which runs until Sunday, November 29.
The varied program includes workshops 'social skills, women's participation and decision making', 'Self defense', 'Shared responsibility: it takes two' and 'Workshop intergenerational violence' and 'interactive Story: A Pirate' .
The activities call for the participation of different generations, enhancing the learning of values between them, from the smallest to the largest through youth and adults.
The main objective is to raise awareness about the importance of alleviating violence against women.
The central activity will be the official ceremony to mark the International Day Against Violence Against Women to be held on Wednesday, November 25, to be chaired by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya.
The children's film screenings, workshops for children and for adults complete the agenda of activities to promote family unity.
The 'II Mountain Bike March Against Gender Violence', also organized by the Department of Sports City of Mazarrón, ending the activities of this program.
In the event the citizens have the opportunity to interact and to alleviate gender-based violence.
