The municipality of Mazarrón has provided support for Sunday's celebration of 'sixteenth anniversary of the Association of Parents of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities Mazarrón. "
ASPADEM partners have commemorated the day with a gala held at the Salon Costa de Mazarrón, which have gone nearly three hundred people.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, supported by their presence this act of solidarity which has been accompanied by the mayors of Infrastructure and Personnel, José Antonio Román and Miguel Ballesta, respectively.
The event also served to honor the people who work persistently with this group and others that are no longer as Juan Martínez Vivancos, known to Mazarron as "The Kill", Antonio Méndez Blaya's "Gold Flake" and Juana Morales Soler, President of ASPADEM mother.
After the awards and memorabilia, the Association President Juan Zamora has exposed a video summary of the activities that members of this group have developed over the past year.
For this projection audiovisual ASPADEM has enjoyed the generous collaboration of photographer Dani Toledo.
"Enthusiasm is the oxygen of life" is the phrase that the video has finished transmitting the energy and spirit of overcoming the partners, relatives and friends of ASPADEM.
The images have given way to the awards ceremony to fifteen institutions, companies, associations and individuals who have demonstrated their commitment and dedication to families that include ASPADEM.
Each of the winners received a cut-glass prism, a silver pin gold plated and an object given by the Department of Social Policy, by the students of the Vocational Centre.
For its part, the attendees were also treated to a magic book and a multi-purpose bag ASPADEM logo.
The celebration of the 'sixteenth anniversary of ASPADEM' has culminated in leisure activities such as bingo halls have been the three who has worked in a large number of shops in Mazarrón, Puerto and Cañada de Gallego obtaining a final collection of 738 euros.
