Children's Day brings together hundreds of young in the Rihuete (23/03/2009)

Las fiestas de San José de Puerto de Mazarrón have relied heavily on the fun of all groups in the municipality.

Therefore, both children and adults have enjoyed a day dedicated to them.

Children's Day, held on Saturday, has brought together hundreds of small tent parties, who together with friends and family have followed the development of all activities.

The drawing and painting workshops have fun at the smallest known who have also enjoyed the play area with space wii and enormous size, inflatable football.

The day has been full of surprises being the highlight the choice of the Siren Child, which has had nine candidates, resulting winner Maria Cortes Santiago.

Councillor for Fiestas, Luisa María Heredia, along with the councilors of Commerce, Juana Maria Morales, and Urban Affairs, José Antonio Román, have seen this very special time for smaller ones.

On Saturday night, the public also enjoyed the first edition of the magazine Musical with dance, humor and magic whose event culminated with the burning of the Falla.

The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Fiestas, Luisa María Heredia, set fire to the failure of this year, which recreated a castle.

Mazarrón neighbors and tourists have come to the beach to watch Rihuete the traditional burning of the Falla.

The Department of Fiestas del Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón applauds the strong participation in all events organized to mark the festival of San Jose 2009.
