The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor of the Presidency, Alicia Jiménez, met with President of Global Nature in the area of Murcia, Juan Luis Castanedo, to address issues relating to protected areas in the municipality of Mazarrón.
During the meeting, Juan Luis Castaneda has requested a collaboration agreement between the City and Global Nature to promote ecotourism and to bring the owners of protected areas positive aspects of working with this foundation.
The purpose of this foundation are the conservation, protection and management of the environment, their projects contribute to the maintenance and restoration of habitats and endangered species, as well as technological innovation and the recovery of traditional farming activities.
Courses, seminars, conferences, youth exchanges, work camps and editing research papers are some of the elements that Global Nature contributes to environmental education.
