Mazarrón form part of the set of routes and visits to the Port Authority will offer the thousands of cruise passengers arriving at the Port of Cartagena each year.
This was confirmed by its president, Antonio Sevilla, during the course of a meeting held with the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez.
Sevilla has highlighted the cultural and landscape potential of the municipality as a great attraction.
"This year the Port of Cartagena will receive 200,000 cruise passengers and is appropriate to incorporate into Mazarrón destinations in our offer."
The Port of Cartagena since May becomes port of embarkation for cruises, so that from this date the offer is extended visits options.
"We wanted to take this opportunity providing everything Mazarrón can offer in order to adapt to the different profiles of cruise passengers," said the mayor, Alicia Jimenez, who was accompanied by the Councillor for Tourism, Maria Angeles Roman.
