Five hundred people visit the exhibition Martinez Canovas (21/09/2015)

A total of 454 people have visited, in town hall, the "Metamorphosis and hybrid" exhibition of artist Juan Jose Martinez Murcia Canovas.

In the middle you have to add hundreds more who came on the day of its inauguration.

According to data recorded by the staff of Town Hall, of the 454 visitors, 69 visitors were in Mazarrón, 40 of the Region of Murcia, 168 from the rest of Spain and 127 from other countries.

"Metamorphosis and hybrid" shows a bold depiction of psychological portraits in which the influence of authors like Kafka, Hieronymus Bosch and Giuseppe Arcimboldo seen, as Canovas himself acknowledged at the opening of the exhibition.

Martinez Canovas Mazarrón has exhibited in a collection of graffiti of great beauty that invites reflection and deepen every single detail, mixing the physiognomy of the faces in the shape of animals.

So I wanted to highlight the Councillor for Culture, Pedro Martinez, during the presentation of the sample.

Four of these psychological portraits have been exhibited for the first time, as stated by the artist.

The exhibition took Town Hall facilities to provide jobs different theme.

So, on the top floor they could be seen classically inspired works exhibited a year ago in Italy, complete with five new unpublished works to date.

Juan Jose Martinez Canovas is a young artist from Murcia 35 with a lengthy resume of solo and group exhibitions.

He graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Murcia and is cited as one of the best examples of portrait today, as is reflected in the various awards he has won so far.
