Mazarrón Bay Triathlon, which this year served its second edition, this Sunday was confirmed as a test to highlight in this sport specialty framed at the regional level.
Organized by the Club Deportivo Mazarrón Bay and the town of Mazarrón, competition eventually brought together 260 participants on the beach Bolnuevo, including several athletes were totaneros.
On the beach of Bolnuevo he started the test with the 750 meter swim that athletes had to complete.
Then and after passing through the showers started the bicycle tour along the Sierra Las Moreras to add 20 kilometers to finish with the 5 kilometer run along the Paseo de Bolnuevo.
Participants, companions, neighbors and visitors enjoyed a splendid Sunday morning, adding, besides good weather.
The overall ranking was led by junior athlete, Placido Antonio Venegas Triathlon Club Daemons Rivas.
The Andalusian ended the three tests with a total time of 58 minutes and 23 seconds.
The second place went to the cadet Juan Caro Guillen Triathlon Club Caravaca and third place for Julio Sanchez Lopez, Athletic Club Murcia.
In the female category, the winner was Mabel Gallardo Triathlon Club Daemons Rivas.
Team, Club Murcia Triathlon led the rankings.
