Seven students from 2nd of ESO students and two 2nd's degree this year have been the winners of short films and posters organized by IES Domingo Valdivieso in collaboration with the Department of Youth of the City of Mazarrón.
Juan Francisco and Eduardo Mendez Heredia, Marina Urrea, Ana Mendez, Irene Navarro, Sara Noguera and Marina Sánchez were students of 2nd ESO who have won first prize in the short film category.
Meanwhile, in the poster section students of Bachelor Francisco Ginés Ballesta and Jaime Martinez were the more you score obtained by the compound to the competition jury.
The diplomas were presented by Councillor for Youth, Andrew James, who also presented a gift voucher to redeem for school supplies on a trading town.
This contest is part of a campaign developed by the IES Domingo Valdivieso de Mazarrón, whose organization involved professors in the Department of Technology, a student intern Social Education at the University of Murcia and art professor Community Services Department Guidance .

The eradication of truancy and ESL education system is one of the fundamental challenges of our educational system if we are to move towards inclusive education to maintain social cohesion.
The IES Domingo Valdivieso makes a series of preventive talks of truancy in courses in which the degree of absenteeism is quite high.
