Campillo, Cobacho Navarro Pacheco and closed down a successful conference on public safety (19/10/2013)

That's how happy he was yesterday the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, at the close of the conference 'Safety, a comprehensive approach' for two days have been developed in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón hands of the University of Murcia (UMU) and the Department of Education of the City of Mazarrón.

During the closure, Ginés Campillo was accompanied by the Rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, the president of the Audiencia Provincial de Murcia, Andres Pacheco, and the director of the Permanent Headquarters of University Extension of the University of Murcia in Mazarron, Fernando Navarro .

Also present at the ceremony, the Councillor for Education, Maria Celeste Soria, and Deputy Mayor of Planning and Infrastructure, Francisco Garcia.

Cobacho received the insignia of gold and diamond Criminologists' Association of the Region of Murcia who provided the criminologist John Joseph Nicholas, who has been the director of this conference.

Cobacho thanked this recognition was given "for his work and support at the time of establishing the university criminology studies", as explained Professor of Criminology and a member of the association college, Milagros Lopez.

The Rector of the UMU also welcomed "the intense relationship that unites us with Mazarrón thanks to the City government team that I want to move my gratitude for your interest in Education."

Cobacho said he was "surprised by the success of Criminology is currently witnessing an explosion, not only for these successful days, but also because I've been so commented just this morning with the principal and several teachers at the University of Alicante".

Meanwhile, Andres Pacheco focused his speech on the Judicial Police offering hints about "this force which is regulated under the rule of law and has as main objectives the investigation of crimes, on one hand, and discover criminals to bring them to justice, on the other ".

Finally, Fernando Navarro was also very surprised by the high turnout and thanked "the great work they have deployed the UMU, speakers and other universities and, in particular, Juan José Nicolás prinicipal has been the architect of these days".
