The organization "First Aid Support Team" (FAST), composed of foreign citizens residing in Camposol, this morning held their open day I first aid in which volunteers have advanced the practice of these techniques , for those who have any kind material as CPR manikins that simulate from babies to adults, defibrillators in English that are indicating the steps that the volunteer must follow and even a monkey to practice first aid for choking.

These open days attended Attention councilors Foreign Residents, José Gómez, the Civil Protection, Miguel M ª García, and Citizen Participation, David Fernandez.

The deputies have been received by the president of FAST, Gerry Bradshaw, who has explained the activities and courses that the organization carries out.

FAST operates in Camposol urbanization rapidly resorting to any citizen call, providing first aid that sometimes, are essential before the arrival of emergency services.

FAST was born in June 2011 and since then they moving to foreign residents, after phone call 1-1-2 and give the details of the events to emergency services can call 968 970 626 for volunteers of this organization quickly approaching.

The councilors who have attended the conference have agreed that it is a good initiative and it is another example of the interest of foreign residents to improve and support emergency services.

In this sense, FAST has the support of another organization as "Protection and Life Saving" (PALS) who recently donated an ambulance to the town.

FAST celebrated throughout the year with various events to raise funds for the organization.

Specifically, on August 24th will be a flamenco show, while October 11 will be held one night of comedy and cabaret.

Near the holidays, FAST will also hold a fair on November 23 at the price of EUR 1 and December 11 will be a "Christmas party".
