The Youth Council of the City of Mazarrón has organized a new edition of Laughter Therapy workshop held late last year and was well received by the youth of Mazarrón.

The event was presented by the area councilor, Andrew James, and youth coach of the consistory, Francisco Saez "Titino".

They agreed on the gut feeling that young people are showing in this type of activities.

The second edition of this initiative will be held on 18 and 20 June in the auditorium of the Universidad Popular de Mazarrón, located at Constitution Avenue, between 20 and 22 hours.

Francisco Sáez commented that "this workshop is very beneficial to remove daily stress using the sense of humor, also learning to deal with the problems of today with a different perspective thanks to this therapy through laughter."

Youth coach added that "through dynamic and games with a sense of humor, participants discover methods that can be applied to practice themselves and even then with family and friends."

In this sense also expressed Andrew James who explained that "this workshop we again approach the youth of the town, although the activity is open to anyone aged 14 and older who want to attend."

Councilman Young concluded by adding that "during this and next week we will meet with representatives of the institutes of the municipality to submit their proposals to us in order to start designing and a new annual program of activities for them ".

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, encouraged "young people, and those not so young who need to install the laughter in their daily lives, to participate in this workshop is another example of the good work that the Department of Youth is developing ".

The mayor stressed that "initiatives like this, or the day of motivation through the image, can become a useful tool for improving the quality of life, self-esteem or self-confidence of the residents of Mazarrón ".
