The deputy of the Socialist Group, Esther Clavero has filed a motion in the Regional Assembly in which calls urgently execute the project of flood defense works in the wadis of Molina de Segura, in order to prevent flooding as those that took place recently.
Clavero said this is a demand by the residents of this town, who before rainfall events suffer as the wadis overflow, causing a serious danger to persons and serious damage.
The Socialist deputy recalled that the December 28, 2010, the BOE published a notice of the Segura basin subjecting public information project of flood defense works in the wadis of Molina de Segura, without today these works have begun.
This has motivated the motion presented by Esther Clavero, "for once and for all is actually the derivation of flood flows and finally solve one of the major problems faced by residents of the fourth city in this Region" he concluded.
