Lycar enabled a stop at the University Campus in line Mazarron - Murcia (12/09/2012)

The carrier "Lycar", which provides bus service between Mazarron and Murcia, has established a bus stop on the campus of Espinardo within the line connecting the town with the capital of the region.

According to José Enciso "will stop at the Campus of Espinardo buses on weekdays Mazarrón leave at 8:00, 11:30, 14:00 and 19:15 hours, while the university will go through buses departing from Murcia bound for the town at 12:00, 15:30 and 21:00 hours. "

Also, at 13:30 the bus will leave the campus connecting the two municipalities along the route map.

For the council of Transportation, David Fernandez, "this initiative will encourage the use of public transport in the town, which is one of the objectives for which work from this newly created council".

The mayor thanked the willingness of "Lycar" to meet this demand, "Many college Mazarrón have been requesting us through Citizen Participation Council of Youth".

Also, Jose Enciso explained that both academics and the general public can be made with a monthly bonus of 20 trips that includes a 20% discount to the price of 78 euros, which represents a saving of 18 euros.

There is also a quarterly payment of 20 trips with a price of 87 euros, which in this case means a saving of 9 euros.

"These fertilizers are promoted by our company and aim to encourage the use of public transport users by helping them in these difficult economic times," said Enciso.

The service provided has started already but could undergo changes "depending on the needs that we see that we face students," remarked Jose Enciso.

Also, the council is considering implementing a transportation subsidy intended to neigh 's that are conducting college.

David Fernandez explained that "we are studying the economic feasibility of this initiative, in order to include it in the next municipal budgets."
