The celebration of Privilege travels musically to the sixteenth century (12/06/2012)

On Saturday 16 the celebration of 440 anniversary of the granting of Villa Privilege is music with a concert at the Museum "Roman Factory Salt" will host this Friday from 8-thirty in the afternoon.

The performance will be conducted by the trio "Dell 'arbore musicale" who will perform various musical pieces typical of the sixteenth century, the century in which Mazarrón became independent of the towns of Lorca, Cartagena and Murcia.

The concert program, which will free admission to complete capacity, consists of pieces by Pierre Sandrin, Diego Ortiz, Francisco Guerrero, Thomas Crequillon, Antonio de Cabezon, Juan Aranese, Luis de Milan, Jacob Arcadelt and other anonymous author will be interpreted by soprano Pilar Carretero, Manuel who will be accompanied by the harpsichord and Francisco Guardia Victoria to the recorder.

These three artists set up the "Dell" arbore musicale "was born in the city of Murcia in 2010 and whose main repertoire focuses on Italian and Spanish music of the early Baroque Spanish.

The soprano Pilar Carretero, has studied at the Conservatories of Jaen, Granada and Murcia and has worked with the leading figures of bel canto in regard to the interpretation of early music as Carlos Mena, Raquel Andueza, Michael Noone and Javier Artigas .

Meanwhile, Victoria is entitled Francisco top of recorder at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia and has been taught by leading professors in this field such as Frédéric de Roos or Laura Pok in the "Conservatoire Royal" in Brussels.

Finally, Manuel Guardia has a degree in piano and is in her final year of Early Music at key specialty in that conservatory of Murcia city under the direction of Javier Artigas.

The concert, organized by the Committee of 440 anniversary and the city of Mazarron, has the support of the Conservatory of Music of Murcia and the Autonomous Community of Murcia.

As underlined by the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, this is "a unique opportunity with which to delight and travel to the sixteenth century, when crucial for the future of Mazarron and help us go entering in this world that know in depth during the congress of Felipe II to be held in November.
