On Saturday, the social center of Lewis hosted a conference entitled "Courtship and Marriage" by which Professor Miguel Morales Mateo revealed how were the customs in rural society Mazarron in the middle of the twentieth century.
The event, which was organized by the mayor, headman of Leiva, was attended by about fifty people attended, not only from this parish, but also areas of Mazarron and Morata.
Professor Morales was supported by the projection of slides depicting various photos of the time to enrich his talk, also getting started in more than one occasion the laughter of those present.
