Thus, the work will double the capacity of absorbing the road vehicles, which account for more than seven million trips a year.

The performance will take place over nearly four miles long, from the roundabout located at the exit of the town of Mazarrón to the Phoenician ship at the port entrance.

It is envisaged the implementation of four garden pavilions, a service road access to the industrial and service roads on both sides, "that will provide quick and convenient access to adjacent properties at its maximum road safety, with which combine the criteria for ride comfort and guarantees to minimize the chances of an incident on the road, "said the counselor.

José Ballesta stressed that the project includes construction of a bike lane eight feet wide to carry out recreational and leisure activities, in addition to lighting all the way to ensure greater visibility and increased traffic safety at night.
