This Saturday the town of Mazarrón has paid tribute to Juan Carlos Méndez Méndez, who with only 36 years died last week at the Municipal Stadium San Miguel de Pulpí.
Estadio Municipal de Mazarrón has embraced this symbolic act, which were present family, friends and lovers of the sport of Mazarron, among which was the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja.
The second team of Mazarrón Grassroots child, of which his son is goalie, wore shirts with a special message: "Juan Carlos will not forget you. We are proud to have met you."
His own son was in charge of carrying a bouquet of flowers to the center of the field, one side was a tribute shirt and another one from the Grassroots team Mazarrón.
Juan Carlos, who was a neighbor of Cañada de Gallego, had two children, a 13 year old boy and a girl of 10 years.
"Good person, a friend of his friends, helpful, simple and cherished around the town, made friends wherever he went, everybody liked him, they define their own friends.
Besides being a lover of sport, acted as a publicist doing various campaigns such as Jubilee Mazarrón and designing the school sports facilities in the municipality.
