More than a thousand people have defied the freezing temperatures, this Saturday night to attend the Gala Queen's Choice 2010.

The 13 candidates, along with his companions, have been received by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Fiestas, Luisa María Heredia, in the auditorium of 'town hall'.

In this space, Francisco Blaya and Luisa María Heredia have offered to young people and their companions, wishing the best for a magical night special and memorable.

After the act of 'Town Hall', there has been the arrival of all the candidates to the fairground where the presenter Antonio Jara has proceeded at the beginning of the act which required the stage presence of the Queen and the outbound candidates .

The first to go on stage was the outgoing queen, Maria Angeles Redondo, who accompanied him as tradition dictates the Mayor of Mazarrón.

Next, have done the same the other candidates with his companions who went before them a video presentation where the young were made known to the whole audience.

Throughout the night there have been many actions that have happened, dance, dance and magic, to celebrate one of the biggest nights for all Mazarron, where the number of applicants has exceeded the previous years.

The girls have had to perform various tests, one of them has been the fashion show with a cocktail dress, all red.

The candidates also had to answer questions from Antonio Jara, when they are released to all citizens.

The companions of the candidates have also taken a leading role because they have had to fight for the title of King that eventually was awarded to David Morales.

Maria Angeles Redondo, Queen, 2009, has fired his reign with joy and sadness, with thanks to everyone who supported him on this journey and good wishes for the new Queen.

Later, Francisco Blaya has climbed the stage to thank first the strong participation in this event by both candidates and the public.

Mazarrón Mayor also thanked all the groups, associations and companies that have collaborated in the development of parties, especially the company 'Antony Jewelers' for sponsoring the gala of choice for children and young Queen.

The most emotional moment of the night was where Francisco Blaya has unveiled the name of the Queen 2010, Craig Oliver, who will represent the beauty Mazarron for 365 days.

The title of first lady has gone to Juana Maria Parra and the second lady at Irene Ros.

The gala concluded with the traditional dance, opened by the Mayor and the Queen, accompanied by a court of honor with their companions.

The Queen and her court will march this afternoon from 17.00 on the streets of Mazarrón on the occasion of the floats.
