On Wednesday the Mazarron have taken to the streets to celebrate the day of the Miracle.
The schedule of events began with Mass in the Shrine of Our Lady Immaculate Conception.
A special event where the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, has renewed vote of the City to the Virgin.
In the day's events, the mayor was accompanied by members of the government team and the rest of the Municipal Corporation.
In the afternoon, citizens have participated in the traditional wreath, featuring a large number of people dressed in the costume of the Region of Murcia.
The tour will open the Drum and Bugle Banda de Mazarrón, followed by the procession, which started from a hospice to the Shrine of the Immaculate Virgin.
Among the participants, which prioritized the presence of children, were different associations and collective Mazarron and the headman of the village.
Once in the sanctuary, attendees have staged one of the most beautiful sights of the day, laying flowers next to the image of the Virgen del Milagro.
Following this action, has begun the blessing of the Virgin oil.
Councillor for Fiestas, who invites all citizens to enjoy the weekend of the Pilgrimage, is a celebration where people come together to share their customs and traditions.
