The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, along with the mayors of Infrastructure, José Antonio Román, and Treatment of Foreign Residents, Jacqueline Gálvez, visited the works of Socio-Cultural Center of Camposol.
This is an important action that will transform the social and cultural life of this area of the municipality where they currently reside more than five thousand people, mainly of British origin.
This building will be a meeting point for all people living in the area of Camposol, where a large number of educational, cultural and charitable.
The works comprise the construction of a building on the ground floor of 270 square meters of floor area.
This space will house a multipurpose room of 134.35 meters square aided by several units, toilets, foyer and hall.
The amount bid for this project was 200,000 euros plus VAT and awarded the company 'Irenamur SL' for an amount of 152,564.00 euros + VAT.
The works, which will be ready in early 2011, are financed with funds from Plan E.
