Choose your school sports! (23/09/2010)

This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, presented the guidance of the 'School Sport' for the 2010-2011 academic year which includes all information related to the sports facilities, disciplines, clubs and sporting events in the municipality.

This publication, which begins with the words of Francisco Blaya, also reminiscent of the best athletes in the past year and describes in detail all the sports facilities.

The guide includes several new features like the 'Card + Sport' which will allow Mazarron book tracks, from home, with just one click.

This cutting edge card may be requested shortly in the Sports Department.

Also, this course the students will have a new sports school as is the paddle, which may engage in sports facilities and CEIP García Ginés Bay Sports Complex.

The guide of the 'School Sport' for the year 2010-2011 provides citizens with a wide range of activities which combines nearly twenty different disciplines.

Athletics, football, futsal, handball, roller skating, tae kwon-do, basketball, paddle tennis, table tennis, multisport, judo, chess, aerobics and sailing school (sailing, kayaking and surfing) are the disciplines that may participating schoolchildren.

On the other hand, adults can also play sports such as step aerobics, cardiotonic and batuka, including for maintenance.

The guides 'School Sports' can be collected at the Department of Sports, located in Calle Santo Tomás 1, or in the Consistory of Mazarrón next to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
