Week of fire prevention in the educational centers of the municipality (08/01/2018)

The students of the schools and institutes of the municipality will participate in the Week of Fire Prevention from January 15 to 19.

An agenda of activities will spread among the students of Mazarrón the necessary knowledge to avoid risks.

The initiative is organized by the Mapfre Foundation and the Professional Association of Fire Technicians (APTB) in collaboration with the Municipality of Mazarrón and the Fire Extinction Consortium of the Region of Murcia.

On Monday, January 15, talks will be given on self-protection at school and at home.

They will take place in schools Francisco Caparrós, La Aceña and La Cañadica de Mazarrón.

On Tuesday, January 16, this same talk will be given at the schools Ginés García and Infanta Leonor de Mazarrón and at the concert school Siglo XXI in Puerto de Mazarrón.

On Wednesday, January 17, the IES Felipe II and Domingo Valdivieso de Mazarrón will be the scene of an emergency and evacuation drill.

At 5:30 p.m., the Mazarrón Day Center will host a self-protection talk at home addressed to neighborhood communities and small businesses.

The talks will return to schools on Thursday, January 18.

In this case, they will be taught at the Manuela Romero, Bahía and Miguel Delibes centers in Puerto de Mazarrón.

The activity will end on Friday, January 19, with a Prevention Party at the Town Hall Square.

The Fire Prevention Week in Mazarrón will be officially presented at the regional headquarters of the Emergency General Direction on Monday, January 15 at 10:30 am.
