More than 1,700 people participated in the Spume Run in Mazarrón, the first race of colored foam.
The new and refreshing sporting event took place last Saturday through the streets of Puerto de Mazarrón.
The event is organized by the City of Mazarrón and the team of the famous Holi Life that visits Murcia for Carnival.
In addition, it has the support of the general direction of Youth of the Region of Murcia.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and the councilor of Youth, Patricio Sánchez, wanted to share the moment with the young people who participated in a race that repeats in the municipality for the second consecutive year.
At 7 o'clock in the afternoon there was the exit foam, looking for a cooler schedule for sports activity.
In the starting line, participants wished to cover themselves with foam from head to toe.
The departure and arrival were at the same point, the precinct of the municipal flea market of Puerto de Mazarrón.
The route consisted of five kilometers, with colored foam cannons passing each participant for each kilometer point, or Spume Point, one color for each of the four points, pink, yellow, blue and green.
After reaching the end of the tour and passing through the supplies, the Spume continued with the musical animation and dance from the stage, as well as a lot of foam thrown by cannons on the runners.
The event lasted until about midnight, thanks to the animation of the foam cannons, music and the usual equipment of Holi Life, organizers of the race of colored foam.
The foam used complies with all the quality certificates required in the EU.
It does not cause allergies and does not irritate the skin or the eyes.
Spume Run Mazarrón is an event organized by A38 Servicios Plenos, co-organized by the Mazarrón City Council, with the institutional support of the Region of Murcia, the collaboration of the Young Card of the Region of Murcia and the production of A13 Productions.
