Mazarrón will once again be a benchmark for regional cycling.
This next weekend, on 1 and 2 April, the municipal term hosts the VIII Vuelta a Murcia Master.
It is estimated that about 200 cyclists participate in this competition.
The VIII Vuelta Ciclista Master of Murcia will start on Saturday 1st of April with a double stage.
In the morning the riders will face a route of 33 kilometers predominantly flat with departure and finish in Mazarrón passing through Gańuelas, La Majada, La Atalaya and Leiva.
The ribbon cutting will take place at 09:30 hours on Avenida de la Constitución.
In the afternoon, around 4:00 p.m., a time of about 7 kilometers will begin, starting at RMD4 (Casa Colorá) and ending at La Majada.
While on Sunday, April 2 will be held the most demanding stage with climbs to the highs of Cedacero and La Cuesta of the surrounding municipalities of Mazarrón.
The route of this stage will complete almost 100 kilometers.
The organization of this competition will attract a global volume of participants close to half a thousand people.
