The Association of Housewives, Users and Consumers AlMazarrón, Red Cross, Musical Association Master Eugenio Calderón, the Association of Merchants of Mazarrón, Association of Housewives, Users and Consumers AlFaro of Puerto de Mazarrón, Cáritas Puerto and the Department of Social Policy have agreed to grant the recognition of "Woman Mazarronera 2017" to the group of foreign women belonging to the various associations of the municipality, for their social work and assistance to people and disadvantaged groups in Mazarrón.
This appointment was announced Friday by the Councilor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz, accompanied by representatives of recognized associations.
The official presentation of this award will take place in an official ceremony that will take place at the Cultural Center of Mazarrón on Sunday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m.
For years, associations such as Lions, Make a Difference or the German collective that helps in the Camping of Bolnuevo, have been collaborating actively with the municipal social services and organizations like Red Cross in the attention to the most needed people of the municipality.
This collaboration translates into economic contributions, obtained through the organization of solidarity events, which translate into a respite for dozens of Mazarron families.
