Eight young people have received the lady's band on Friday during the presentation of their candidacy for Queen of the Patronal Festivals 2016. The event has taken place in the Plenary Hall of Consistorial Houses with the attendance of the Councilor of Festivities, Patricio Sánchez.
The candidates in this edition are Noelia García Navarro representing "Imagine", Katherine Yossari Gómez Melgar representing "Chiringuito El Polvorín", Laura López Machado of "Gold Cup", Victoria Navarro Ruiz of "El Mata Restaurant", Paola Sánchez García Of "Peña Caño del Molino", Melody Sánchez Gómez from "Punto y Coma de Puerto de Mazarrón", Eva Urrea Paredes from "El Puente Restaurant" and Vaiva Visockaite, from "MV Cafeteria".
The Gala of Election of Queen of the Celebrations will be celebrated next Saturday 3 of December at 21:30 hours in the tent of the Fairground of Los Rincones.
The councilman of Festejos, Patricio Sanchez has encouraged the mazarroneros to come to witness a gala that will bring back surprises and where fun will be guaranteed.
Like last year there will be no first or second lady, being all ladies from the moment of the presentation, finally choosing a queen among all the candidates.
The next Monday, November 28, at 5:30 p.m., will be the presentation of the book and program of the Fiestas Patronales de la Purísima 2016 in the Plenary Hall of Casas Consistoriales.
