The Board of Murcia Organization of Business and Professional Women Murcia (OMEP) held Friday in Mazarrón a day dedicated to the promotion of equality and reconciliation under the analysis of breastfeeding in the workplace.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Health, Encarna Guillen and the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, along with other members of the municipal corporation.
OMEP soon open its physical headquarters in Mazarrón according to advance their local delegate Sheila Tempering.
Alicia Jimenez announced that the next Board of Municipal Government adherence to the Manifesto for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men OMEP be treated.
The president of OMEP, Manoli Marin, thanked the advance commitment by the mayor and recalled the actions defends his organization mainly in the reconciliation and bet greater visibility of the role of women.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Health, Encarna Guillen, has stressed the importance of promoting breastfeeding as a healthy practice and entrepreneur has encouraged women to create specific spaces in the workplace.
