Miguel Bou and Chloe Lara Segura prevail in the 'SEAMAN' of 6 kilometers in Bolnuevo (15/09/2019)

Finally 93 swimmers have participated this Sunday in the test of swimming in open water 'SEAMAN' of Bolnuevo that organized the Swimming Club Master Murcia with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City of Mazarrón.

Of them, 42 athletes had reached the municipality to compete in the Spanish championship of this sport that has developed in the waters of the beach and coves of Bolnuevo.

In the 6-kilometer race, the absolute champion in the men's category has been Miguel Bou of the Aquatic Les Marines club with a time of 1h: 20 ': 29' ', who has been accompanied on the Daniel Mora podium of the Albacete Swimming Club in second place and Enrique Corbalán of the UCAM CN Fuensanta.

The three also competed in the test of the Spanish Cup, thus occupying the first three places of the aforementioned national competition in today's event.

Within the 6-kilometer females, the swimmer Chloe Lara Segura of the Aquatic Les Marines has risen to the top of the podium with a time of 1h: 28 ': 28' ', followed in second place by Lucia Gómez of the Martorell Swimming Club and Soraya Pérez del Albacete Master Swimming in third position.

The three athletes also participated in the Spanish Cup, thus taking the podium in the national test.

In 2.5 kilometers, the short test of this event in open water, the podium was composed by Jorge Blanco of the Albacete Swimming Club in the first place and with a time of 40 ': 27' ', followed by Antonio Merino of the Swimming Club Source Alamo that has been second and the independent Paul Morris who has been third.

In women, the winner of the 2.5 kilometers has been Amy Connolly of the Elche Swimming Club with a time of 46 ': 46' '.

The second place has been for Beryl Altabas also of the Ilicitano club and, closing the podium, there has been third Verónica Villas of the Swimming Club Villa de Torre Pacheco.

The Councilor for Sports, Francisco José García, and the Councilor for Tourism, Raquel Raja, have been responsible for delivering the trophies thanking the participation of the swimmers, as well as the Red Cross and Civil Protection who have deployed the safety device with the council for everything to happen without incident.
