The Department of Sports of the City of Mazarrón is already distributing the information leaflets on the Municipal Sports Schools for the 2019-2020 academic year that will begin on October 1 and that last Friday presented the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, and the delegated councilor of the area, Francisco José García.
A total of 20 schools are offered this year, including Mountain Bike, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Beach Volleyball.
The sports schools, aimed at children and young people between 3 and 18 years old, are priced at 75 euros for the whole year except for the two related to water sports taught by 'Bahía Surf Club' and 'Escuela Grímpola', which cost 100 and 150 euros respectively.
For its part, the table tennis school is completely free.
There are discounts for members of large families and also for those who can certify a 33% declared disability.
García recalled that "the inscriptions can be made in the offices of the Department of Sports located in the sports hall of La Aceña from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 2 pm, delivering the registration form properly filled in and the proof of payment letter that can be obtained through the municipal website (the Department of Sports helps to get it for those who need it), where you can also download the triptych of schools in pdf format ".
The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, congratulated the different clubs and associations for "the magnificent work they do to promote the habit of Sport among our young people" and also wanted to congratulate them "for being the first architects of the successes that week after week harvest the mazarroneros athletes in different disciplines ".
Miras promised that "any family that wishes, whatever their circumstances, to register and the case will be studied so that no child is left without participating in any of these activities."
